Clamping device SECTOR OF THE TECHNIQUE
The present invention relates to a clamping device, for example for rattles, teethers and other children's material. It includes means to reduce its length, folding it on itself, to prevent it from dragging along the ground.
It is applicable in the field of childcare. STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE
Means are known for shortening the strap of a rattle, teether and other items carried by a baby. An example is found in US4994075 that discloses an elastic strap. This system is complicated to use by the baby, so your caregiver should approach it.
Another system is in US6434797, which comprises a drum for picking up the rope, so that the problem described is that it is relatively fragile because it has moving parts and springs.
A third method is that shown in US8011069, where the length of the device is shortened or lengthened by means of a buckle, which is ineffective as each adjustment requires a lot of skill and time.
No solution similar to the invention is known. BRIEF EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION
The invention consists of a clamping device, especially for children's material, according to the claims. It allows to reduce the length of the device by folding it approximately in half but it offers advantages such as the simplicity and security of the fixation and, according to the embodiment, the ease of opening, so that the baby himself can lengthen it again.

The clamping device for teethers, rattles or other children's tools of the invention has a strap on whose body a first fixation is arranged at one end, for the tool to be carried, and a second fixation at the opposite end 5 of the strap for clothes, the child's car or any equivalent item. It also has a folding position for approximately the midpoint of the belt that can be maintained in two interchangeable and combinable ways. The first corresponds to two ferromagnetic elements, located at the ends of the belt, of which at least one is a permanent magnet. The second is a strip near the
10 second fixing attached by a first point to the belt and with releasable fixing means on both ends of the strip to close on itself by hugging the tool, part thereof, or the first fixing.
When the embodiment comprises the magnet, it can be arranged in the body of the strap, close to the first fixation, making the second fixation a clamp with ferromagnetic material.
If both embodiments are combined, the joining means of the first tip may correspond to the ferromagnetic element close to the second fixation. In this case, the joining means of the second tip of the strip will be similar to the other ferromagnetic element (a magnet or a ferromagnetic element).
Auxiliary strips, similar to the aforementioned strip, may also be arranged in any of the solutions, distributed along the body of the belt, although preferably near the first fixation.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
For a better understanding of the invention, the following figures are included.
Figure 1: Example of the first main embodiment, with the belt made as a cloth tape folded and sewn longitudinally.
Figure 2: Example of the second main embodiment, with the belt made as a fabric tape folded and sewn longitudinally.

Figure 3: Example of a combination of the two main embodiments, where the releasable joining means are shared by both folding mechanisms. EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of the invention will be briefly described as an illustrative and non-limiting example thereof.
The invention is offered in two main embodiments that follow the same principle of folding in half. They comprise a whole series of common elements such as: a belt (1), which can be made of any suitable flexible material and shape (cloth tape, plastic chain, rubber, cable, ...) formed by a body where a First fixation (2) at one end, such as an elastic ribbon loop, for the material to be carried. At the opposite end there is a second fixation (3.3 ’), which can also be an elastic ribbon loop, a clamp (3’), a buttonhole on the wearer's clothing, a safety pin, etc. This second fixation is arranged for the child's clothes or car.
In the first main embodiment (Figure 1) the belt (1) comprises two ferromagnetic elements (4,5) at the ends of the belt, of which at least one of them is a permanent magnet (4) capable of adhering with the sufficient force to the second ferromagnetic element (5), which can also be a magnet. The magnet (4) may be near the first fixation (2) or near the second fixation (3.3 ’). It will be advisable to be close to the second fixation (3.3 ’) if the magnet material (4) is soft and can be bitten by the child. The ferromagnetic element (4,5) close to the first fixation
(2) must be in the body of the strap (1), to allow changing the element (teether, rattle, ...) that is installed in the device. In contrast, the ferromagnetic element (4,5) of the second fastener (3,3 ’) can be in the belt body
(one) or in the second fixing itself (3.3 ’), for example making it a clamp (3’) with ferromagnetic metal somewhere in its structure.
In use, the child caregiver places the teether, rattle or other instrument on the first fixation (2), places the second fixation (3.3 ') on the child's clothing or carriage, and leaves the tool within reach . If there is a risk that the tool will touch the ground, become entangled with other children's equipment or disturb in some way, the caregiver folds the belt (1) on itself, joining both ferromagnetic elements (4,5) to reduce the length of the

belt (1). If the strength of the magnet (4) is properly calculated, when the child wishes to use the tool, he can pull the strap and release it.
In the second main embodiment (Figure 2), a small strip (6) is arranged
5 length (usually about 3-6 cm, although it may be longer) fixed by a first tip (7) to the belt (1) near the second fixation (3.3 ’) and with the second tip (8) free. The strip (6) can be parallel to the direction of the belt (1) or transverse to it, without affecting the utility. On the tips (7,8) there are releasable joining means (9) such as a velcro strip, automatic buttons, a magnet and a
10 ferromagnetic material (or other magnet), etc. In this case, the caregiver will fold the belt
(1) and will hold the tool or the free end of the strap (1) by hugging it with the strip (6), which closes on itself.
Both embodiments can be combined to give the device greater versatility.
15 (Figure 3). Even making the joining means (9) of the first tip (7) of the strip (6) correspond to one of the ferromagnetic elements (4,5) of the belt (1). In this way the caregiver can choose which method to use to shorten the belt (1). If you use both ferromagnetic elements (4,5), the child can easily release the tool. If you use the strip (6) it will be more complicated for him although it may depend on the strength of
20 the joining means (9) of the strip (6).
Likewise, if the strip (6) is not used to fold the belt (1), it can be used to fix other tools.
25 The belt may comprise auxiliary strips (6 ') to fix other tools at any point thereof, but preferably near its ends.
